We invite you to join us for our Sunday morning worship, from 9:45 am-10:45 am. Children's Church is available for children age 2- 6th grade.
Our faith is guided by scripture, first and foremost; but also by tradition, experience, and reason. We openly welcome all people with the love of Jesus. Please join us on Sunday mornings at 9:15a.m. for worship on the corner of Michigan & Hull in Edgerton! Please check our fb page for upcoming events and special studies! ALL people are welcome at Edgerton UMC!!! United Methodists have believed, from the very beginning, that we are all called to participate in the outreaching ministry of Jesus Christ. John Wesley and our forbearers saw the work of the church in the simplest, straightforward terms: Do all the good you can, in all the places you can, to all the people you can. That is the belief and vision of the United Methodist Church. Rev. Rick Barnett Senior Pastor Pastor Crystal Goodnight Assistant Pastor (Youth & Young Adult) Stephanie Krill Office Manager Karlyn McPike Lay Leader

We pray and grieve with our sisters and brothers in Paris as the Cathedral of Notre Dame is burning.
This evening we've had an urgent request for prayer brought forward by one of the families in our congregation. The prayer request is for a young girl by the name of Macie (those who attend church will he familiar with the name, as we've been praying for her for quite some time) Macie is battling leukemia, and today experienced a critical drop in blood sugar, and was admitted to the hospital for observation by her oncologist. The family is still waiting for answers as to what caused this drop in blood sugar. Please pray for Macie, her family and the doctors treating her, so that they can not only get her stabilized, but also find out what caused it so they can prevent it from reoccurring.
We lift to the heart of God all those whose lives were torn asunder by the tornadoes down south. Prayers and peace ...
Just a reminder- when school is closed, the church office is closed. We are closed today (Tuesday, January 29), due to the weather.
Worship services for January 20 are canceled due to weather. There will be no UMM breakfast meeting, and no worship services. Please stay home, and stay safe! God bless, and hope to see you next week!
Please be careful as you are out and about in this weather. Remember ... if you do not feel you can get to church safely, please stay where you are! Blessings!!
This time of year gets so busy, and we often spend so much time stressing over getting the decorations up, and trying to strategize how to schedule all the different family and friend parties, so they don't overlap, and so you can make it to all of them. But let's take a minute to let that all go and remember what the real reason for this season is... Hope.Peace.Joy.Love. Have a blessed Christmas! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OExXItDyWEY
"Give thanks with a grateful heart ... for all God has done and been in our lives." May you celebrate a happy and holy Thanksiving!!
We are seeking a worship musician for our Sunday morning worship service. We use both the United Methodist Hymnal and contemporary worship music in a blended service at 10:15 am. Job sharing is a possibility - and our “piano” is a Clavinova. If you are interested, or know someone who might be, please email me at [email protected].
Don’t forget the time change! Set your clock’s back one hour! See you at church!
The November newsletter is out! Pick yours up in church Sunday (or check your email, if you get your's emailed), or download it on the website at: http://www.edgertonchurch.com/
Some photos from the trip to Ridenour Acres Corn Maize after church on Sunday, Oct 14. We had a total of 21 kids and adults go on the trip! This is our 3rd year of taking a fall field trip with the kids, and everyone had a great time!
Prayers for those in the path of Hurricane Michael - and those already in rescue work!
A huge thank you to all the kids (& parents) who emptied out their change jars last week during VBS. With your generosity, $201.68 was raised for UMCOR!

Our very own Katie Krill (second from the right) sings in this group, the Son's Rays, from Ohio Northern University. Today was their first performance of this school year (& the first performance ever for freshmen Katie & her friend Karsyn, who is third from the right). They performed at Enon Valley Presbyterian Church in Findlay. Hope you enjoy this video of them singing "Lean On Me".
"Amazing Grace: My Chains are Gone". A sample of the amazing music we were graced with by the Son's Rays, from Ohio Northern University. The entire performance can be found on our church website, Edgertonchurch.com (Sunday, April 3 worship service.)
Part 2 of the Edgerton UMC Handbell Choir performance. Enjoy!
